It’s hard to think about spring semester when I am just starting to cram for my fall finals, but this past week has been registration for the University of Delaware’s thousands of students, and with that many people fighting for spots it’s hard not to stress over getting the classes you want. As a freshman I was naturally given one of the last registration dates so for days all I could do was helplessly watch my classes fill up before my eyes.
Finally Friday morning arrived and I quickly flung my laptop open at 11am in a crowded hall.. Only to be informed that the server was jammed and I was going to have to wait “a few moments,” but these moments quickly turned into minutes. After what seemed like an eternity I successfully logged in, and with a few clicks I found myself sucessfully registered in every class I had wanted. While I do know of some of my friends not having as much luck as I did, it seems that most everyone was quite pleased with their classes they were able to get. With spring semester scheduled, it won’t be long before I start my sophomore year plans. Yikes!
